Your job as our COCO Bar Manager will be to ensure that the bar runs smoothly on a daily basis. As a Bar Manager you will play a key role in providing sensational experiences for our guests. You will be the face of our brand new restaurant, for every guest that walks through our door. That’s why we are looking for someone who can enjoy working with people and is passionate about delivering the highest standards of an incredible guest service.

We are looking for an outgoing and hands on individual, with great knowledge of cocktails, spirits and beverages in general. The ideal candidate will possess also excellent service skills, and thrives in a busy work environment. Our Bar Manager is also leading the bar team in a motivational atmosphere and will lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting of staff members
• Training of current staff and new team members
• Managing your team and constantly raising the bar

• Creating wine pairings for existing menus

• Keeping up to date with licensing legislation and taking legal responsibility for the premises

Assistant manager

The job

For our newest addition: COCO Lounge & Bar, we are seeking a self-motivated, energetic Assistant Manager who possesses a passion for hospitality and fostering a great sense of teamwork. If you are the right one for this opportunity, you already have experience in a senior restaurant management role. You have worked in a fine dining; fast-paced restaurant and you possess a talent for leading and inspiring others. The Assistant Manager manages subordinate employees via the Supervisors during the shift and ensures appropriate professional standards of behavior, work standards, productivity, practices and customer care are enforced. Our ideal COCO Assistant Manager ensures that the whole team has the complete knowledge of F&B service techniques, all menus, drinks lists and specialties offered in the Restaurant & Bar and served to correct standards. You maintain effective communication within the team and to attend meetings and training sessions when required. You hold daily staff briefings in the absence of the General Manager or when you are on duty.

Head hostess

The job

For our newest addition: COCO Lounge & Bar, we are looking for a strong and energetic Head Hostess, who is comfortable in a fast-paced, downtown environment. Our COCO venue is located at the 24th floor of Benelux largest newly built hotel Nhow Amsterdam Rai.

As our Head Hostess, you will take the hostess team to the next level & set the tone for the evening and future for all our guests. This position is service oriented and extremely outgoing. You will invite guests into the restaurant, inform guests about our dining options and lead them through the ideal options for them, and provide a “wow” and sensational experience for guests who may visit us for the first time.

The role of a Head Hostess is essential in creating an unforgettable experience for all the guests of COCO. You will provide our guests with a warm and sincere greeting and to ensure any of their special requirements are carefully communicated to the rest of the COCO team. Our Head Hostess is also leading the hostess team in a motivational atmosphere and has a complete knowledge of F&B service techniques, all menus, drinks list and specialties offered in COCO and served to the correct standards, to pass on. You lead by example and make sure your team is always spot on.

As a Head Waiter/Waitress you will be required to run the lounge with a compact team of staff to provide an unforgettable, overall experience for our guests. Our COCO team is looking for someone who enjoys working as a team and providing efficient and incredible service to our customers. As a Head Waiter/Waitress you will not only uplift the guests dining experience during their visit, but you will also uplift your team to the next level. We are looking for an individual who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role and who can multi-task various duties. Storekeeper

The job

We are looking for a hands-on Storekeeper, who will work further on the success of our newest addition: COCO Lounge & Bar. In the position of a Storekeeper, you are responsible for the operational administration, logistics and storing of the entire range of goods at COCO Lounge & Bar.

Together with the storekeepers team you are responsible for making and receiving orders, carry out checks on incoming goods and managing the stores. You will be also managing the daily internal ordering system ensuring that the different departments are always stocked up within a timely manner, to keep our guests always satisfied. Furthermore, you play a central role in the end of month stock take, resolving delivery issues and liaising with different third party companies.

For this position we are looking for someone who will be motivated, energetic, a team player, someone who knows how to multi-task and who has the ability to set priorities within your diverse range of daily tasks.

Bartender

The ideal candidate is a driven team player who has experience serving cocktails and special drinks. The COCO Bartender ensures all guests are served drinks or food within the bar in a friendly and efficient manner in accordance with company standards. You welcome and greet all guests in a friendly, professional and sincere manner and ensure all guests approaching the Bar counter are acknowledged and served. You prepare cocktails and special drinks and follow up with spot checks to ensure a consistent quality of drinks is guaranteed. Barback

The COCO Barback is responsible for ensuring that the COCO bar team always has the tools required to serve customers continuously on shift. Our Barback will keep all of the stations fully stocked with products, utensils and ice at all times.
